aztec bodycon

I found this midi body con-dress at TJ Maxx and loved the pattern. I wanted a graduation dress that wasn't too fancy but that I could still dress up with a pair of wedged heels. I bought these shoes from Amazon a few months back and I wear them all the time. They're a staple item in my shoe collection and I love to wear them with dresses as well as skinny legged pants. The necklace that I added was something that I would not normally be attracted to but I loved the antique look that it had and it complimented the aztec design of the dress well. This dress can also be toned down with a pair of neutral colored booties for a more casual occasion as well!!

jumping into spring

Photographed by Kendal Beecher

It's crazy to think that just over a week ago I was dressing for a snow storm and now I'm pulling out my warm weather wardrobe (and happily I might add).

This strapless jumpsuit from the Loft is the perfect transition outfit for the spring weather. The drawstring cinches in the waist for a more figure flattering look, and not to mention it is extremely comfortable and easy to wear!

I am wearing an Ann Taylor Loft jumpsuit (similar), House of Harlow sunglasses, Francesca's earrings (similar), Soda heels (similar), South Moon Under necklace, Michael Kors watch, David Yurman ring, Jeweliq Nail it bangle

camel & lace

Old obsession, structured minis. New obsession, skirts with movement and fluidity. This camel colored skirt works perfectly for fall. It can be paired with flats and or heels (even boots) and something tight on top balances the fullness of its shape.

I am wearing Free People shirt (similar), Forever 21 skirt (similar), Forever 21 heels (similar), Forever 21 earrings (similar), South Moon under "R" necklace, TJ Maxx clover necklace, David Yurman ring, Michael Kors watch

taking a walk on the wild side

One of my favorite new pieces is this great leopard blouse. Whether I tuck it in or tie it up, it works with just about anything. The first time I wore it with simple black pants, but I felt like it wasn't spicy enough so when I tried it on with my bright maxi from Loft it was so much more interesting.

My style is always evolving and changing. I am stepping outside of the box more and more, and this outfit is a perfect example of that. What I love about fashion is that there are absolutely no rules, no fashion ruler who tells you what to do. If you love it, that should be enough validation to know if you should wear it.

I am wearing H&M blouse (similar here), Ann Taylor Loft maxi skirt, Banana Republic necklace, Michael Kors watch, David Yurman ring

style on a dime

Photographed by Kendal Beecher

I am all about being stylish on a budget, so when I saw this $20 mod-looking white and black dress at Forever 21 I knew I had to have it. I paired it with my favorite knee-high leather boots that I got on sale at South Moon Under and a bright pink clutch from Target for a fun pop of color. I am so obsessed with House of Harlow's sunglasses, in particular, "The Chelsea", but I found this great pair at H&M that look similar for a mere $8. Who said you have to spend a fortune to look great?

I am wearing a Forever 21 dress, Reserved leather boots, BCBG Max Azria necklace, H&M sunglasses, Target clutch, David Yurman ring
